Harold joined APFH in July as a 10-month-old kitten who was born in the wild at an apartment complex in Clermont. Many residents put food out for him, but no one was able to take him in.

Like so many community cats, Harold's story could have ended tragically. A kind woman repeatedly saw him darting across a busy highway and weaving beneath parked cars. Fearing he would eventually be hit, she brought him into her home despite already having three dogs and called APFH for help.

Just a few hours later, Harold became part of the crew.

Today, he is best friends with Max and Mia, who are close to his age. Harold is a world-class cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be beside you, on your lap, or stretched out next to you while purring his heart out. He doesn't always understand when the other cats are finished playing, but that's only because he sees his new world as a place filled with friends, toys, fun, and endless possibilities.

Harold never had the chance to be a carefree kitten when he was living outdoors. Thanks to one compassionate person, he finally gets to enjoy the childhood he almost missed.
