Temporary housing for cats whose people are facing a medical emergency or leaving a domestic-violence situation, so keeping a cat safe never means giving it up.
How it works
1. Reach out
Email us. Everything you share stays confidential. We'll ask a few practical questions about your cat's needs and how long you expect to need help, and nothing else.
2. Your cat stays with us
A quiet room, food, litter, and vet care for an agreed period. We send updates so you always know how they're doing.
3. You reunite
When you're ready, your cat comes home. No fees, no judgment.
Who it's for
- A hospital stay, surgery, or medical treatment that means you can't care for your cat for a while.
- Leaving a domestic-violence situation, when a safe place for your cat makes it possible to leave.
- Another urgent situation. If you're not sure whether it counts, ask. We'd rather hear from you.
If it isn't safe to reach out from home, ask a trusted friend to contact us for you, or use a library or workplace computer.
Space is limited and depends on donations, so please reach out as early as you can.
