Lily

Born Apr 16, 2023 · 3 yr 6 mo

Lily is our Ocoee Taco Cat.

Small in size but big in heart, Lily was abandoned outside Ocoee Taco, where kind employees and customers made sure she had food. Unfortunately, the busy road just outside the restaurant meant her future was uncertain. One phone call from a local diner with ties to our sanctuary changed everything. Within 45 minutes, Lily was safely on her way to APFH.

It didn't take long for Lily to make herself at home. She is a loving soul who gives endless kisses, rubs, and affection. Every night she curls up beside me to sleep, and if you're trying to watch television, don't be surprised if you finish the movie with the cleanest hair in Florida. Lily absolutely loves to groom her people.

She gets along with everyone at the sanctuary and is often one of the first cats to greet visitors. To know Lily is to love her.

Recently, Lily faced a series of serious medical challenges. A large cyst near her spine required surgery, and a mass on her tail was found to be cancerous. While the surgeries were successful, we remain concerned that another mass may be developing on the remaining portion of her tail.

Your sponsorship helps provide the ongoing veterinary care Lily needs and helps us manage the growing medical expenses that come with keeping this beautiful girl healthy, comfortable, and surrounded by the people who love her.
