Sam

Sam and his brother Dean were named after the Winchester brothers from the TV show Supernatural. Just like the characters who inspired their names, the two brothers look nothing alike but share an unbreakable bond.

Sam's story began near busy Highway 50, where life is especially dangerous for outdoor cats. He and Dean were born in the wild and depended on the kindness of a local resident who wanted a better future for them.

With a little help and a trap, we were able to bring both brothers to safety.

Sam has spent his entire life at the sanctuary, always alongside Dean. Watching them curl up together or quietly look out a window side by side is enough to make anyone smile. Sponsoring Sam helps keep these brothers together and safe.
